San Francisco 🌉

After saying goodbye to some people, we went to the airport in Honolulu on Wednesday. After a 5-hour flight, we finally landed in San Francisco, where it was already 10:00 pm thanks to the time difference. Arriving at our hotel in downtown San Francisco, we got some dinner from the kiosk next door, where we realized that we had ended up in the ghetto neighborhood :) On the next day, despite the corona quarantine, we decided to at least get an impression of the metropolis and took an Uber to the viewpoint 'Twin Peaks'. ⛰️🏙️ After a short view and numerous photos, we went straight back to the hotel on Minna Street, where we got a family pizza for dinner 🍕 (maybe a regular pizza would have been enough :) ). In order not to miss the highlight of the city, on the last day we drove out of the city to the Golden Gate Bridge, which we had almost entirely to ourselves due to the corona pandemic. 🌉 Since the weather was perfect, we decided to walk the 2 km long bridge to the other end, where we discovered seals, dolphins, and whales in the water below us. 🐬🐳 In the evening, we packed the last things and prepared everything for the long flight back, which we unfortunately had to take earlier than planned (thanks to the coronavirus). 😢 This is how our adventure trip ended on March 27, 2020, which had probably given us the most beautiful and exciting time of our lives. ❤️
