Couchsurfing around

So I met Ajit, an Indian business man working in Accra for 3 months who is super friendly and welcoming. He made his own version of Indian Masala tea:

Which was very sweet and super delicious 👍

In the middle is Franco, another Couchsurfer who is from Purto Rico. Together Ajit gave us a very nice tour through the city with his car.

We saw Ghanas biggest soccer stadium.

Imagine this was the first moment for me as a german visiting a football stadium. In Africa. 

Close to the stadium is also the independence arc.

And the best: You can actually go up on the monument

Which gives you a great view!

Also Ajit said that hitchhiking is safe here and all his couchsurfers have been hitchhiking before so I guess that's an experience I'm going to do soon aswell 🤘
