25.06. Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon (click on the image for the full post)

Today we went to a slightly larger lake, Lac de Sainte-Croix. So that we deserved a proper break and sunbathing, of course we hiked a few kilometers beforehand. 😀

Since it was very hot today and the path was sometimes steep uphill, we quickly got exhausted and found a small quiet bay down by the shore.

We spent about 5 hours there and will probably go there again tomorrow because it was simply very pleasant and we really enjoyed it. The water was clear, not too cold and we could feel as free as we wanted since there was nobody near us.

From the bay, we had to walk about 3 km to the car, but that was not a problem at all, because we had been lying down for 5 hours before and a little bit of movement was good. At the end of the day, we treated ourselves to a refreshing drink and a delicious dessert in the village. ☺️
