I wake up pretty early, somehow the car was shaking. I'm not sure if it was an earthquake or if Alex moved silently. I read a bit until Alex wakes up and we make scrambled eggs for breakfast. Then we drive into town quickly to get some drinking water and then head north. We have picked out a campsite where there are warm showers and electricity and within walking distance is a library with Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the library is closed when we arrive in town and the campsite does not have Wi-Fi, so it's not really desirable so early in the day. So we look at our smart map again and find a campsite 60 kilometers further north with hot showers, electricity, and Wi-Fi, which is affordable.
Jackpot. The place is nothing special, a meadow surrounded by trees, with all the amenities you need. I sit in the sun for a while, warming up enough to throw on my shorts. Alex is editing photos and working on the blog and I write, occasionally also a blog entry.
At noon, we take a little "working" break and walk to the Deer Park, which is adjacent to our site. We greet the animals and take a small walk back to the car. We listen to podcasts, use our microwave for the first time and make popcorn, warm up leftovers, write, edit photos, and call friends and family back home.
