Black in Pošumaví

On Friday afternoon (09.06.2017) the move from Horní Planá to Černá v Pošumaví is scheduled. The nest is located just 10km southeast of Horní on the reservoir and has the nearest ATM. With a freshly packed paw, we master the two and a half hour walk, partly along the lakeside, without any problems. With fresh money and fresh food, we set up camp at Kemp Olšina. Like all the others so far, this one is also a very beautifully located campsite. However, the place itself doesn't have much to offer.

In contrast to Horní, the shore at the campsite seems to be a very popular fishing spot, every few meters there are fishing rods laid out and middle-aged men waiting for the bite...

Motivated by the last swimming experience with Rango, I try to consolidate the progress. This time, fate plays into my hands. Nearby, a few teenagers are playing ball in the water, which naturally piques the interest of the big guy. With a little coaxing, he even swims a bit. But he's still not quite comfortable with it and quickly gets out of the water. However, once back on solid ground, he seems somehow proud of himself. And he should be!

Other than that, we spend three very relaxed days by the lake. On the next tour, we're expecting another 20km, so Rango needs to be well-rested.
