I. Hollywood 15.9.18

Los Angeles is a city with countless options for cafes, bars, and restaurants. For our trip today, we chose a bowl bar for breakfast. After that, we were stuffed and glad to sit on the Metro for a while on our way to Hollywood.

On Saturdays, the Hollywood Boulevard is crowded with tourists from all over the world. Nipp shops on both sides of the street tempt you to buy completely unnecessary things ;-)

The Walk of Fame is less spectacular than expected. It's loud and flashy, and the most exciting thing is an anti-Trump demonstration for which a part of the boulevard was closed off.

We take the opportunity to finally visit Madame Tussauds wax museum. Some of the figures are so lifelike that you really wonder if they're going to move.

Since we have a tight schedule, we head to Santa Monica around lunchtime.
