Day 13

I got up around 9 o'clock and packed everything together. With an empty stomach, I headed back to Arcachon. There was a fishing shop. Unfortunately, the owner of the fishing shop, Nino, didn't speak any English, so our paths separated again after 3 minutes because neither of us understood the other. 😂 Off to the bakery. There, I got myself a fresh baguette and 2 pain au chocolat. I drove back to Biscarosse-Plage, where I had been 2 days ago, because I had booked surf lessons. I was really excited about it and quickly parked in a daily parking spot. I went to the surf shop and asked when I should be there tomorrow and what I needed to bring. Everything was clarified and I even found a shop where I bought myself a new cap.

Back at the van, I changed and took my towel with me. I went for a swim and watched the others who were having a surf lesson. I was hungry and made myself fried eggs with a sandwich 🥖. Later, I facetimed with Daniel (aka Heitmann, Brodmann or Langmann). I still needed a parking space for the next few days and parked in a side street. Packed my backpack with a few beers, I was on my way to the beach to watch the sunset and let the evening "quietly" come to an end.

A few more people were surfing and I watched them. The sun was already gone and it was getting cool. Somehow, I still felt like it and went to a bar. I had one too many drinks. Slightly tipsy, I walked back around 12 o'clock and went straight to sleep.
