29.08.2017 to the coast

After three beautiful and hot days in Sossusvlei, we head to the cool sea after breakfast.

We have 380km of gravel roads ahead of us and only one gas station in Solitair. Although we don't need to refuel, we like to make a stop here. It is the only gas station and bakery within a radius of almost 200 Km.

Great apple pie and cappuccino!!!

Some cars didn't make it any further here.

Let's continue through Gaub Pass to Walvis Bay on the Atlantic. Another dune, this time number 7, and the kids want to climb it. The effort was really worth it for the view.

Now it's just a short hop to Swakopmund!
