Day 16 Yellowstone 1

In the early morning, we set off for Yellowstone National Park. It was worth it! Only a few people were out so early, so we had no parking problem for our giant vehicle at the Old Faithful Geyser. After a quick breakfast at the General Store, we set off to observe the eruption of the geyser. A great spectacle! The geyser spews massive amounts of water about 50 meters into the air. It looks beautiful and reminds one of a sugar cane. We walked on the boardwalks, which were built for the safety of visitors, and admired the many different geysers. The sulfurous smell lingered in our noses for a long time. Time flew by and we wanted to continue our tour and enjoy more natural beauties. However, since we were all very tired from the long night the day before and the early morning wake-up, we decided to postpone the program to the next day. We drove back to the campsite and cooked dinner. Kusi and Chregi went on a trip to the river, then it was time to hit the hay.
