Venice

Today Venice was on the agenda. The alarm went off at 6:45 a.m. after a surprisingly quiet night. Yesterday a group of Swiss youth arrived here and it was impossible to ignore their noise. But here too the mosquitoes did a great job and made you disappear into your mobile homes - there are more than enough mosquitoes here.

The journey there and back to Venice took us around 20 minutes, so we arrived in a still sleepy Venice at 8:30 a.m. It was really great because it wasn't too crowded and we could look at everything at our leisure. St. Mark's Square was still really easy to get around. The city map and Google Maps were our best friends, I didn't know where I was anymore. We saw some great little alleys, had some funny gondola moments and experienced a lot of Italian feeling. We were able to enjoy a typical espresso and cappuccino in a mini café and finally ran quickly to the transfer boat.

We spent the afternoon at the campsite and discussed the rest of the trip. Let's see where we end up tomorrow.
