Helsinki also welcomed us with glorious sunshine. We started our city tour at the iconic Cathedral on Senate Square.



We are not yet in Russia...


It is the Uspenski Cathedral which was completed in 1868. At that time, Finland was still part of the Russian Empire.






The old market hall

I was fascinated by the new library which is accessible to everyone and is wonderfully designed.
