Gardens by the Bay

Our first full day in Singapore, we almost completely overslept :D We finally managed to leave the house at half past 3 and took the MRT towards Marina Bay Sands. There, we walked briefly through the shopping center where we unfortunately couldn't afford anything, but it was beautifully decorated for Christmas (quite strange to think about Christmas when it's over 30 degrees Celsius :D)

Afterwards, we strolled through the Gardens by the Bay. Here, there are various trees and flowers that don't exist where we come from (e.g. a mango tree).

Of course, we also did the Skywalk! From there, you have a wonderful view of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and the garden. It wasn't as hot up there and there was a pleasant breeze. (Btw, they are currently setting up a huge Christmas market in the garden!)
