16.6. Sarandë - Himarë 53km/1060hm

I feel much better. Today I will explore the southern coast of Albania with over 1000m of climbing. Let's start at 8am.

Partly cloudy, but when the sun comes out, it's hot.

Steep uphill sections - at 10% gradient, I could only push the bike. Step by step, very slowly, with frequent breaks to catch my breath.

Amazing views along the way and somehow I manage to reach the top. But guess what? It goes downhill and then uphill again. It's not like the Alps where you aim for a certain mountain pass.
