Day 6: Dravograd - Surprise at the border with Slovenia (SL0) 60 km / 350 hm

Challenging tour with steep climbs.

At the border in Dravograd, initially no accommodation ... but a very nice owner of a local restaurant. She arranged a room for me about 3 km away in the castle 'Dvorec Bukovje'. The surprise: A great renovated castle (see photos) reminds me of my workplace in Seeheim-Jugenheim 10 years ago. The castle owner kindly provided me with a room, as today they are celebrating the independence of 30 years ago (the veterans?). I do not know the political background of the celebration. The director (castle owner) will give me an exclusive tour in the evening!! Great opportunity. But first, let's have something to eat.
