Vietnam

I was in Vietnam at the beginning of the year for my visa extension and the intermediary seminar.

Due to time constraints, we traveled directly from Chiang Mai to Hanoi.

The bus ride would have taken us at least 35 hours, so we decided to take a quick flight.

We arrived in Hanoi and had three days before our seminar at the nearby Cuc Phuong National Park.

The time in Hanoi was beautiful and it's the most beautiful city I've seen on my travels so far.

We stayed right in the center and there was something to see on every corner, and the food was more varied than in Thailand :).

We visited many markets and stopped at small cafes that are lined up every three meters.

We also visited some sights, mostly just wandering around and seeing many interesting places.

I have never seen such a vibrant city in my whole life and I enjoyed my time there so much.

However, we spent the last part of our trip in the national park to attend the intermediary seminar.

We went on many nature trips and saw impressive landscapes, as well as monkeys and mountains on our hikes.

It was a great time in Vietnam, and Hanoi is the highlight of my trip so far.
