Ötztaler Urweg Stage 3 from Niederthai to Lengenfeld

Today we first went about 1km flat out of the town towards the forest, where it then went continuously slightly uphill. After that it got really tough, because a steep, narrow path awaited us that kept us busy for a few kilometers. As it went up on the path, it also went down again, until we then went on the last third of today's stage, a forest path, always steadily downhill, until we reached our accommodation for today in Lengenfeld. With 18.5km, 450m ascent and 810m descent, we were able to prepare for the longest stage of the tour, which is coming up tomorrow. Today's highlight was not to be found on the path this time, but we received a visit from our Camino brother Klaus, who had just come to us from his second home in Niederdorf/South Tyrol to spend the evening with us, a very, very nice gesture from him.
