L'Aquila and Lake Campotosto

Yes, L'Aquila still leaves the same sad impression as it did 10 years ago when I was here last. A few more buildings have been rebuilt. Many are still supported, with completely rusted supports, others are finished renovated

or almost finished

In many streets, it still looks the same as 13 years after the earthquake

We continue to Lago Campotosto, which is slightly higher and that is a mistake. It freezes at night and in the morning the surrounding mountain peaks are white.

So quickly back to the coast, where we find a place in a dead-end street in the afternoon. It is noticeably warmer here

We unpack chairs and drinks and sit on the beach, we are alone and enjoy it.
