Wednesday, 19.02.20, Day 94

प्रकाशित: 26.02.2020

Warrington Reserve, Warrington

We start the day right at sunrise, as we enjoy it together on the beach and then go straight to the water with our surfboard for the first time. Our "surfing" worked surprisingly well for the first attempt and was a lot of fun. We drive back to the surf spot St. Clair to have pancakes for breakfast and watch the surfers again. After another chat with the German boys, we drive to the Otago Peninsula and try to spot albatrosses, but decide against a guided tour for a lot of money. This pays off later, as we suddenly see albatrosses with their huge wings circling above us in the parking lot. This allows us to tick off more and more animals that we still want to see here. Spontaneously, we buy beer, invite the German boys Marvin & Christian and spend a nice evening before driving to the campsite at Katiki Beach in the dark.
