Beeeeach, Yeah

So the plan for today was to wake up at 7:00am and take the bus to Abu Dhabi in the grand Mosque... But we couldn't get out of bed. At 9:00am we had a delicious and cozy breakfast and then went to the beach. Just a beach umbrella costs a small fortune and with all the sand everywhere it's not very relaxing...

On our last day, we go to the Aquaventure Park on the artificial island 'The Palm'. The park is nice and we enjoy tubing (floating in the water on tubes). The slides, especially the famous Shark Attack slide, where you slide through an aquarium in a glass tube, are rather disappointing. Long wait times for short and unspectacular rides, although I can only speak for a few slides because we didn't have much patience to wait in line. We preferred to be at the beach. Our flight to Chennsi, India leaves at 11:00pm. Our visa is required at check-in. The gentleman wants to know if we have a connecting flight... My heart drops... Nowhere did it say that we need to show proof of departure. After a brief clarification, everything is fine and we are allowed to check-in! Yes!
