Heading to new islands

My tattoo only took 20 minutes and was more or less painless. Because tattoos done with a bamboo needle don't bleed or get infected, I was able to go swimming with the bunch of amazing people I've had around me the past few days. We spent two hours in the sea, laughing so much that our stomachs hurt on the way back to the hostel.

I'm really grateful to make so many beautiful connections here. It strengthens me and brings me a lot of joy. Yesterday, I decided to continue traveling to Koh Tao with Jay and Amber, the two English people. They have been traveling for a whole year and are happy to have company. Matt, another Englishman and a really nice guy, was also staying at the same hostel in Koh Samui and joined us. We left Istvan behind on Koh Samui with a heavy heart and already miss him a little, but we'll meet him again at the Fullmoon Party on Koh Pangan.

We spent the last day on Koh Samui together at Chaweng Beach, which is about 15 minutes away from the hostel by scooter and is a really beautiful beach. After swimming, we had dinner at the night market in Chaweng. We went swimming again at night, which was a lot of fun until I scraped my other foot on the pier, haha. But it's not a big deal.

Today, we took the ferry to Koh Tao. When we arrived at the hostel, we borrowed snorkels there. It was exciting and great, I saw many colorful fish and underwater plants. After that, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and delicious Pad Thai.
