23.07.2019: Direction Russian border

It took us 9 hours for 230 km, an adventurous ride. The Mongolian government must have decided to renovate the road and already remove the old asphalt surface on almost the entire route. Alternatively, you were now allowed to drive on an off-road track next to it. Since it was raining, this tour turned into a mud battle. The bus lost its bumper in a deep pothole. At times, we couldn't be sure if we would make it.

We stayed at the Comfort Hotel in Darchan, which the Russians built many years ago.

It exudes a certain charm, but we have not been able to discover the comfort yet.
