The early birds...

Bangkok - 6 AM: The tour begins. Since we crossed the Cambodian border with our (super cool) travel group, we have been amazed (positively amazed, of course). After the long bus ride, we had lunch at an NGO project and the village was shown to us, along with its 'pets' (dogs, cows, chickens, monkeys on leashes, crocodiles,... the usual).
Siem Reap - 4:30 AM!!!!!!!!: We are watching the sunrise in front of the Angkor Wat temple. In the Angkor Wat complex, there are almost 300 Hindu temples that are beautiful, beautiful. The huge walls with their finely carved sculptures are impressive, despite sweating, tiredness, and a lot of effort. After 8 hours of temple sightseeing, we are back. Now, according to the guide, we have 'the whole afternoon' (in reality 2 hours) to relax because soon we will go for a quad ride into the sunset.
Tomorrow - 8 AM (almost sleeping in...) we will continue to Phnom Penh.
