Burgos is beautiful

Today we made a small and relaxed stretch of about 25 km. We also treated ourselves to a nice walk through the city and the park by the river. A wonderful old town made of light stone and a pompous cathedral. Since overnight stays with dogs are almost impossible in big cities, we had a nice evening together and I walked a few more kilometers on the Camino de Santiago and slept in my hammock by the riverbank.

Today I said goodbye to Laercio, Rendy, and Olga. Olga will continue next year, Laercio is going to Leon and wants to pilgrimage through the mountains there, maybe even all the way to Santiago, and Rendy will pick up his wife in Madrid the day after tomorrow. They will come back to Burgos and continue the rest of the route together from here.

Tomorrow, hopefully around 6:30, Massimo and Irina will pick me up here and we will walk together for about two more days.
