Nightlife in Sibenik

We slept in and had a beach day in Vodice.

During our visit to the fortress on Sunday (St. Michael), we purchased a combination ticket to visit a second of the four castles in Sibenik.

So in the evening, we walked to the Barone Fortress and watched a spectacular sunset. We could see the many islands off the coast of Sibenik clearly on a clear day.

The nice cashier at the castle told us that with our combination ticket, we also had free admission to an event at the Sibenik Dance Festival at the Barone Fortress. So we decided to let the kids watch a movie at the accommodation while we climbed up to the castle again (still almost 30 degrees Celsius). The kids, by the way, thought it was really cool to have the place to themselves, and we enjoyed a contemporary dance piece and an outstanding choreography to "Bolero" performed on trampolines.
