I set out on foot shortly after 8 a.m. to explore the area. There were excursions to the UNESCO World Heritage sites, but I found them rather uninteresting

My destination was the "Traditional Market", which I had imagined to be something different, as it mainly sold designer and beauty products.

So I continued walking until I found an entrance to the underground world, the "Jungang Underground Shopping Center". I felt more comfortable here, there were local snacks, knick-knacks and restaurants. I bought "Jeju Real Tart" and mandarin chips, which I had been allowed to try earlier.

It was now 11:00 a.m. and I wanted to be at the ship by 2:00 p.m. at the latest. So I decided to have an early lunch. I chose a kind of fish soup with abalone in a clay pot. This time I left nothing over.

I was back on board before 1 p.m.

In the evening, the Serenade Orchestra and the "Voices of Royal" presented their program "Club Royal". One of the singers was, of course, Daniel Sugimoto, with whom I had had a long conversation the evening before during dinner.
