#Tuscany - The path to the Rhine Falls - Schaffhausen / Switzerland

We leave the land of wine and good food with many wonderful impressions that our trip through Tuscany left us.

We decide to make a stop at another wonderful natural spectacle and head to the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen. The first sight immediately captivates us; we have never seen the Rhine like this before.

Huge masses of water cascade down over the rocks over a width of 150 m! Take courage: you shouldn't miss the drive and the climb to the middle rock. From Laufen Castle, a footpath takes you past the roaring waters to the “Fischetz” platform.

After we have moved into our hotel and recovered from the strenuous journey by car, we set off in the morning and explore paths and nature. Of course we don't miss it and go on one of the boat trips. We decide and climb onto a rock in the middle of the Rhine Falls and feel free like birds, in the middle of the water.

There are clearly wonderful places to marvel and relax all over the world.

Our vacation is coming to an end and so we head back towards Hamburg, but not without another stopover with the family in Heidelberg.

It was really nice and definitely worth a trip again. But when and how remains to be seen, because the world still has so many beautiful and exciting places to discover and experience.
