Bavaro, Punta Cana the Second (Dominican Republic)

Once again, it's time to get up early - we depart at 6am and first take a bus for about 4 hours to Santo Domingo and then another 4 hours back to Punta Cana.

We will stay in the suburb of Bavaro again - in a different accommodation not far from the airport.

Here we will enjoy the last two days in the garden by the pool!

Our 3 weeks in the Dominican Republic have flown by and this time we are not flying to a new, foreign country but actually back to Germany - where we will have the final blog entry!

Thank you Dominican Republic - it was a very relaxing time here at the end of our trip!

Conclusion Dominican Republic Katha: 'This was the perfect, relaxing end to our world trip, we couldn't have done it any better! Since everything in the Caribbean is incredibly expensive, we didn't do any major excursions - but lying on the beautiful beach in the sun, taking long walks, and cooking for ourselves doesn't cost much and was exactly right! We could have stayed here for a while longer for sure!'

Conclusion Dominican Republic Ronny: 'A relaxed end to our one-year adventure, just as we imagined. The 3 weeks flew by incredibly fast and now we are here in Bavaro writing the final conclusion of a country. I really liked it, Caribbean beaches that topped everything and one of my personal highlights, visiting Falco's accident site. All in all, a great ending!'
