Tag 315 - Hot Springs & Mama's Departure Day

Hello everyone

Today was Mama's last day of vacation, which we started at 8 o'clock with a delicious breakfast.

There were fried eggs, toast bread, a special kind of bacon (not really good, but it was a try 😁), jam, Nutella, coffee, and orange juice ☺️

After the meal, we wanted to take a quick look at a blue, clear lake called "Emeral Pool", because we didn't want to wait for the return flight all day.

That's why we got on our scooters right away and drove to this Emeral Pool. We drove for a good hour until we passed the equally advertised "Hot Springs".

Spontaneously we decided to take this as our destination for today, because somehow we didn't make as much progress with the scooter as we had hoped and our bums were starting to hurt ☺️

The hot springs were not really that great, to be honest, because they have been in need of renovation for years ☺️

The water was not very inviting for swimming, as the algae were already sticking to the dirty pool wall and there was a film of dirt on the water.

However, we sat down comfortably, smoked one or two cigarettes, drank something, and joked a bit about the run-down wellness oasis ☺️

After about half an hour, we set off again and drove to the great restaurant near us. Mama wanted to eat there one last time, which suited us just fine, because we were all hungry by now and no matter how long you search - there is really nothing to complain about the food there ☺️

At 3 o'clock we were back at our accommodation and started with the last errands:

Mama freshened up and started packing, I put everything I wouldn't need for the rest of the trip into her suitcase and set up a mobile WLAN for her. Time flew by and it was already time to call a taxi, or rather a "Grab". It took quite a while until we had a driver, and in the meantime, we were already working flat out on a plan B. The problem was that we couldn't secure Mama's suitcase to the scooter, otherwise it would have been no problem to drive her quickly. Kevin was already working on a solution, but fortunately, we found a driver right at that moment ☺️

We accompanied her to the airport for a short while, because she's really not used to traveling alone. And we also had such a great time that I really wanted to take her to the airport - in my opinion, that's just part of it, and Kevin agreed immediately.

After the check-in, we said goodbye only very briefly, because Mama and I both find it very difficult to say goodbye.

So at this point, a huge thank you to my Mama, for the adventurous and carefree time! It was really fantastic with you!!!

Then Kevin and I drove back to our accommodation. Tonight, once again, we will spend the evening comfortably on our terrace and we'll be back tomorrow 😉
