Oaxaca and Santa Maria del Tule

The Overlander Oasis is located in Santa Maria del Tule. It is actually the private home of a Canadian couple. But due to their own overlander past, they offer space and technical advice and assistance. Unfortunately, the space is already full with four vehicles and we cannot stay there due to their own dogs and cats.

But Kevin knows the people and we are allowed to stay on a private garden plot with our own wedding chapel. Later, a young Dutch couple will also join us with their Defender, and we will have some entertainment.

In Oaxaca, on Kevin's recommendation, we have our slightly crumbled stabilizer rubber checked again at a suspension workshop. Unfortunately, no chance of finding a replacement. But they take everything apart and put it back together for €12 and assure us that it will hold.

Oh, and in Tule, there is still the tree with the largest known trunk diameter.
