Abu Dhabi the first day

After the power nap, which was repeatedly interrupted by the loudspeaker announcements due to the lifeboat drill with annoying tones, the ship left Dubai at around 1:00 pm and set sail for the capital of the UAE, Abu Dhabi. Planned arrival at 6:00 pm. At sea, I inquired about the "ship", enjoyed a delicious piece of cake, or relaxed a bit on my veranda cabin to simply enjoy the magic of the endless view of the sea. In the evening, dinner at one of the buffet restaurants, today in Asian style. Very tasty! At some point, the whole ship started to rumble during dinner, and I wondered what that was all about. I glanced through a window and saw the dark sparkling skyline of Abu Dhabi in the distance. Oh, we had already arrived. About an hour early. Wow, Captain Vincent Cofalka really sped up. But you didn't notice anything. No big rocking, which I actually love. Seems like it's going to be more of a duck pond route here. Too bad.

There was also a program for today. An evening panoramic tour past the most beautiful sights of Abu Dhabi. At first, I thought if it was a good idea to be on the move again after having had a good sleep last. But it was worth it! And I'm glad I took this tour. Beautiful! Breath-taking! Very impressive! We returned to the ship around 11:30 pm. We will spend the night in Abu Dhabi.

PS: The internet on the ship is a complete disaster, it's only enough to send a few WhatsApps or upload a status. Web browsers don't load at all! Which makes it very difficult to write the blogs in real-time.
