The last two days were quite relaxed: we spent the time at the most beautiful beaches that we have visited before. Lazily lying in the hammocks under the palm trees, we enjoyed the refreshing breezes and learned some Indonesian (well, a part of what we have planned, we have already learned... but only a part ;P)

On Tuesday morning, we discovered an abandoned bungalow resort on a beach, which we immediately explored. We were not surprised that it had been abandoned, as the beach was completely littered and could only be reached via a bumpy gravel road.

But the highlight was from Monday to Tuesday: BBQ + sleep over at the Hide on High Bar (we reported...). The BBQ was fantastic, consisting of fresh, gigantic fish just for Therry and juicy chicken legs with potatoes as a side dish. But what we didn't know yet was that we would have company. Shortly after dinner, a group of about ten Thais arrived, loaded with food for an entire army. We were warmly welcomed ('Join us, we are going to have fun together') and became the guinea pigs for their grilled food: crabs, shrimps, fish, chicken, mushrooms, everything that is desired in a traditional way with all eating habits. For example, that everything - really everything - is eaten with a super spicy dip, be it the mussels, sunflower sprouts, or crab chips.

After the extensive feasting, the fun continued in the game round: of course with Thai rum shots.

After a funny evening, we eventually fell asleep tired on the beautiful terrace under a light drizzle sky, until the sun woke us up in the morning.

We had a wonderful, authentic Thai evening and thanked for the extraordinary hospitality that you might never find in Germany.

Today we continued to the next island, Koh Tao, which is supposed to be a snorkeling and diving paradise. Accordingly, we might spend the next few days underwater.....
