Day 7 - New Orleans Hop on & Hop off

The feet are sore, time for a Hop on & Hop off tour with the famous red buses. After breakfast (today without eggs and bacon), we went directly to the stop around the corner. With the slightly overexcited but funny tour guide Heidi, we first took a full round on the bus. We passed by the Superdome, the Garden District, and many other sights of New Orleans. The first stop was in the Garden District where we strolled around, with a detour to a very old cemetery. After that, we went shopping (and had mini pretzel hot dogs for strength) at the Riverwalk Outlet Center before getting off again at the French Market. For dinner today, we had (unfortunately not sooo good) creole-inspired chicken breast with rice and vegetables and a Jambalaya.

Tomorrow we will continue by car towards Florida. Overnight, the weather is unfortunately supposed to change a bit, so keep your fingers crossed that it will get better soon.
