Day 29 - The Reunion at the Lake

The night was really warm, as the thermometer showed 11 degrees at night again. So the night was restful and we could get up early. Our plan was to drive from our camping spot to Gävle to meet Ria and Pascal there at a lake and spend the night there. So we left early and made a stop at a Fjäll Räven outlet. We couldn't just pass by there, of course. The outlet was very nice. Everything was still too expensive, but we could still buy some new beautiful dishes. When we wanted to continue driving, it started pouring rain and it didn't look any better in Gävle. The weather was supposed to get better in the afternoon/evening. We hoped for that and actually, shortly before we arrived there, it stopped raining.

So our planned barbecue evening didn't fall through! Jeroen and Pascal immediately looked up the price of a fishing license and bought one. They put their fishing rods together and went hunting for the big fish. But after half an hour, none of them had caught anything and the hunger became too great, so they postponed fishing for later.

We had a cozy barbecue and spent the entire evening by the lake. Jeroen and Pascal tried to catch a fish throughout the evening, but their bait was only stolen.

This day also ended with a clear starry sky.
