Lake Mahinapua - Tag1; Cape Foulwind, Pancake Rocks

Additional information 03.02.

After getting up as planned, we continued to Lake Manihapua.

On the way there, we took a short hike along the coast at Cape Foulwind and past a seal colony, and then took a tour at the Pancake Rocks. They are called pancake rocks because they look like stacked stone slabs.

In the afternoon, we arrived at the Lake Mahinapua hotel, where we were quite surprised that it looked more like a biker bar than a hotel.

We spent the rest of the afternoon lying by the lake and enjoying the fact that we were being cooked for by the hotel.

After watching the sunrise on the beach, we went back to the bar :)
