The biggest journey of my life

Samantha goes on a journey, the headline for this little blog. Off to new, unknown places and adventures and I want to share them with you.

On October 30, 2017, everything started. This was one of the most beautiful days of my life so far, but also one of the most difficult! I had to say goodbye to people I love more than anything for a very long time. Goodbyes have always been very annoying and unpleasant for me.

After everything was packed, big praise to my friend who supported me actively, we soon went to the airport. I don't know how many thoughts crossed my mind on this trip, I think they were countless.

Arriving at Frankfurt Airport, my nervousness about the new and at the same time the disappointment of having to leave now reached my personal maximum. Checked luggage, upgrade booking was now successfully done! I knew what this meant now! I have to say goodbye finally. This literally broke my heart. Well...

After a tearful farewell from my friend and Carina's mother, we slowly made our way to the gate. The boarding call had been made and we boarded the plane.

The upgrade to Premium Economy quickly turned out to be very profitable. With super nice service and great legroom, we were welcomed on board.

Suddenly an announcement from the captain, one of our engines was not quite intact, so of course this problem had to be investigated. After about an hour's delay, we were finally able to take off.

Off to Canada, off to Toronto!
