Der nächste Tag/ The next day

Hi! 🙃

As promised, here are new updates from my mission trip today. :D 

This morning we were going to breakfast at our hotel and found out that the person who usually prepares breakfast didn't show up. 😅😂 There was only a small amount of food available. The biscuits also tasted a bit like tofu. 😅 

Then we waited at the front desk. When the man behind the front desk got a call we had to laugh when he said, 'Did you try to stop the toilet from flushing?' After the call, a mechanic came in. The man at the front desk then said, 'Oh good timing, a toilet is over flushed.' The mechanic asked, 'Did you remember the room number?' The man replied, 'Oh no! I mean they will definitely call again if no one comes and it continues to be a problem.' 😂 This conversation was really funny. A little bit of a screwed up employee I would say ;) 

I just thought it was a little funny because the hotel was called 'Quality Inn & Suites'. 😂 

We then got back on the road. Have already driven through Oklahoma City (in Oklahoma). Here in the vicinity should also run the Route 66. 🥰 

We had a short incident with the bus. Air came out in a hose of the driver's seat, which caused a hiss. But we were able to fix that relatively quickly. 😃 

After that, we made a stop at the 'Ransom Wind Ranch' in Oklahoma. Friends of our ranch live there. It was very warm. We had around 27 degrees Celsius. You can see that we are getting more and more south-western. After a lunch together and a little walk we went on our way again. :D 

A few hours later we reached the border to Texas. At the beginning this state looked very green. Many grasslands, where windmills stood on it and cows grazed. But with time it got dark and you couldn't see so much outside. A bit of a shame, but we'll be driving around Texas all day tomorrow ;) 

We recently arrived in Lubbock (in Texas) and will make another night stop here. 😊 In the pictures you can see a bit of what this hotel looks like. They even have a pool! Unfortunately, we don't have time for that though. 😂

Tomorrow is something super cool on the list. But I will upload it tomorrow again. Speaking of times: Since I'm in Texas, we are now 7 time hours apart. In Mexico it will be 9 time hours then. 😅 

Otherwise, I can only say that I currently also have relatively many pictures in my story on Instagram. Since I usually post something first, because it's just faster. :)

But now I'm going to sleep. I just noticed that you have in Germany already the next day. 😅 That can be really confusing sometimes.
