Thank you…

….for?

I waited 20 minutes to make an appointment with the professor of hematology. Then she came out, in her usual annoyed manner, pressed the appointment slip into my hand, and I hurried back because my break was almost over and I wanted to have at least two spoonfuls of yogurt in my stomach. Thank you very much!

10 days of service, I can just about manage that at the moment. 2 days off. And then it's back to work. But my colleagues make the shifts bearable for me. Thank you very much! I'm still looking forward to my vacation next week.

After that, I'm excited to see what the next plan will be. The cryoglobulins are negative again, so we have no reason for plasmapheresis. On the one hand, that's good, because I don't want one either. On the other hand, it helps me. I would have been pain-free for at least two months. But now it's a case of gritting my teeth. Taking pills. Resting. Slowing down physically, reducing stress. And sometimes just blocking out the pain, otherwise you can't get through the day. Filtering. Filtering out things that aren't good for you. Only doing what is really good for you. You have to learn that first. Especially if you're an HSP, it's sometimes not so easy. Then suddenly it's no longer a gift, but a burden.

I called the health insurance company early. They haven't made a decision yet. Thank you for the info!

Then I wrote to the professor about my current status and my symptoms. She replied:

Thank you!
