Everything has an end

The last day of vacation is here and we wanted to spend it on a sandy beach. So we booked a driver through our resort again and five of us went to "White Sand Beach". On the way there, we made a stop at the "Balinese Water Palace". Apparently, this beautiful facility is also very popular with local wedding couples to take their souvenir photos there. A beautiful water garden with lotus flowers, koi fish, and typical stone sculptures that invite you to take a walk or take a break. But since our destination was different, we only took a short break and spent the afternoon at the beach. It felt like being at an Indonesian ballermann. The beach was anything but crowded, but there are booths lined up for about 100 meters. You should eat here, there are free sunbeds, but even a drink is enough to negotiate and use the sunbed along with the parasol. However, tourists are scarce and therefore you are constantly approached by flying traders or masseuses. Of course, we could only resist for a short time and then enjoyed an hour-long beach massage for € 6,-. And we wouldn't be women if we didn't take a little shopping trip to the affordable clothing scene for tourists. In the end, we not only had a nice day at the beach, but also a lot of souvenirs in our bag.
