The positive first: The weather is great again. Just sun and about 25°C.

We are at the campsite in Cabanas between Tavira (about 5 km to the west) and Cacera (about 4 km to the east). The campsite is quiet, has great sanitary facilities, very clean and a very nice pool. We had planned to explore the area from here. However, there is practically no way to leave the place except by car. The only connection to Tavira that does not go via the national road N125 is not accessible due to a broken bridge. The way to Cacela Velha also seems to lead only via the N125. I'll try later if it might be possible by bike. The path to the beach, one of the supposedly most beautiful ones on the Algarve, can only be reached by boat, which does not transport dogs. It is also not possible to travel by bus, as there is also a ban on dogs there. So either we are stuck here or we have to drive with the camper.

We are not yet sure whether we will continue or just make day trips and constantly pack and unpack our things.

Maybe we will continue to Spain in a few days and go to the coast there and see if it works better there.

Portugal and dogs is not easy, it used to be different.

Attached are some pictures from Faro and the broken bridge.
