Arrival in Bangkok

Hello, here I am again. Our time in Bangkok is very short and temperature-wise a bit exhausting. I feel like I'm walking around in a steam bath all day!

So yesterday, after our arrival at the hotel - which is right by the Chao Phraya River - we immediately took a boat to Chinatown. The market there was recommended to us as 'authentic'. Well, I mean you have to see it, but for me it was more like a dirty rat hole. But we found a hotel with an open sky bar right away. The view was impressive though!

Today, in the morning, we headed straight to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho (lying Buddha, 15 meters high and 46 meters long!). I can only say one thing: temple, temple, temple, temple......🙃😊). It's incredible that much opulence all at once.

After a short rest and much-needed shower, we went to the nearby Asia Night Market in the evening........

We are dog-tired 😴😪
