# 50 The Mountains of Aragon

January 7-8, 2022: Valderrobres

J. Four years ago in Thailand, we got to know Pablo from Spain, whom we now want to meet again. Actually, we wanted to meet him before Christmas, but unfortunately he was in quarantine at that time, so now we're trying again. Pablo lives in Alcañiz, in Aragon, and he suggested that we meet in Valderrobres for hiking. That's in the beautiful mountain region of Matarraña.

Pablo seems to know where there is beautiful nature. He spends most of his time on his job observing birds and has already given us many tips (e.g. the Ebro Delta).

We could already admire how beautiful the mountains are on the way there. We drove on beautiful roads recommended by Pablo through the mountains and stopped again and again to take photos. Valderrobres is also a beautiful place. From our pitch we could look over the river to the cute old town. We were already looking forward to the hike the next day and of course to Pablo.
