Day of departure

Finally done! Yesterday was my last day of work for a whopping 3 WEEKS!!!! My colleagues are super jealous, but also happy for me. I also ran into my boss in the hallway yesterday. He said he would miss me=D

My airport transportation has been quite complicated in the past few days. My friend was supposed to drive me, but a week ago she told me she could press down her brake pedal. So she took her car to the workshop, luckily nothing major or time-consuming. Then on Wednesday came the shock - stomach bug! 'It will be gone by Friday!' Well, since I wanted to know everything for sure by Thursday, she ended up cancelling on me. My mom, who originally didn't want to drive, will now drive me. Thank God that's settled. So I can leave my car with my parents for the 3 weeks and also have a nice lunch today=)

On Wednesday, I had dinner with Andrea, a friend of my mom's. I helped her with the website for the restart of her naturopathy practice (www.heilpraktikerin-meitingen.de) and still owed her a meal;-) As always before my trips to Paraguay, we went to the Greek restaurant in Donauwörth. Here's a little sneak peek.

My suitcases are packed, except for all the things I still need on the day of departure, toothbrush, etc. One suitcase is only gifts! As soon as we have unpacked all of them in Paraguay, I will post a photo of the extent. :-P

Yesterday, my friend Flori also surprised me. Even though he has an exam today (in Regensburg!!!), he suddenly appeared at my door =)
