No. I really couldn't let that pass! Just a few days ago, I was on the trail of 'Wilsberg' in the bicycle city of M├╝nster - now on my way back, I made a detour to St. Andreasberg in the Harz mountains, following the crime series 'Harter Brocken' ЁЯШЕЁЯСН.
About the history: St. Andreasberg is a former free mining town in the Upper Harz and has been part of the newly formed city of Braunlage in the Goslar district since November 1, 2011. Sankt Andreasberg is a climatic health resort in the Harz National Park. The spa business and tourism play an important economic role! Enjoying nature and discovering history - the highest-altitude mountain town in the Harz is known for its mining tradition, colorful mountain meadows, and relaxing vacations in the middle of the mountains.
An incomparable feature is the mining history, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Upper Harz Water Management. The world's most important pre-industrial water management system for mining comes to life here above and below ground. In addition, families explore nature together with the rangers of the Harz National Park or treat themselves to a full dose of adrenaline in the paintball facility or high ropes course!
Fun is guaranteed all year round with the rapid rides on the summer toboggan run or in winter on the snowtubing facility. The highest-altitude observatory in northern Germany offers experiences of nature, culture, and science. What makes it particularly special is that it gets very dark at this location at night, making the Milky Way or even the Andromeda Galaxy visible to the naked eye on many days of the year.
Active holidaymakers will find challenges in Sankt Andreasberg at any time of the year: With well-signposted hiking trails, you have steep climbs, tricky trails, and a bike park for mountain bikers in summer, as well as easy and sporty cross-country ski trails and slopes in winter on the Matthias-Schmidt-Berg and the nearby Sonnenberg.
The aura of the film sets of the police headquarters, the yellow house opposite, which probably served as accommodation for the film crew, and the bank that was recently robbed in the show...ЁЯе░ - all this is only surpassed by the charming village itself, which is considered a challenge for masochistic non-motorized cyclists! There is hardly a road that doesn't lead extremely (!) steeply up or down... dear people from M├╝nster: make a detour here with your bikes and you will never complain about anything again...ЁЯШИЁЯШВ
