Last stage, United States. 🇺🇸

On to the States, after spending two nights in Tulum, I am now on my way to Cancun Airport, where I will happily spend the night.

After 12 hours, the plane finally takes off. I don't even notice the takeoff because I am so tired, fortunately the air conditioning is not working and it's about 0 degrees in the plane.

Contrary to all my concerns, crossing the US border is not a problem and only takes about 10 minutes.

Well then, off to the hostel where Lippe is already waiting for me, since check-in is not until 3pm, we go straight to the beach to spend the afternoon there.

It quickly becomes clear that Miami is even more expensive than I expected, so we have to be resourceful.

In the evening, we have a few beers and try out a few bars. But we don't really get into it here, so the next day we take care of accommodations in Key Largo and Key West and rent a car that we will have for the next few days.

We spend the rest of the day exploring other parts of Miami, such as Little Havana, but also strolling along Ocean Drive.
