Norway trip May 26-June 17, 2022/June 9

Today the journey continues along the Helgeland coast. We take three car ferries, the first one after about 50 minutes drive along beautiful fjords to Nesna. On the car ferry, Nesna-Levang, about 20 minutes, the second one Tjotta to Forvik, about one hour. It's especially beautiful, slowly sailing through narrow passages. The third ferry from Andalsvagen to Horn, about 20 minutes. Along the whole trip, we encountered Hurtigruten ships. In the early afternoon, we reach our amazing accommodation in Bronnosund, right by the fjord. After a quick dinner, we go hiking to Torgatten, the mountain with the hole. Highly recommended (if you're sure-footed), you can enjoy a great view. We even saw the passing Hurtigruten ship. Bronnoysund is located in the coastal plain of the Norwegian west coast in the municipality of Bronnoy. It is situated on the Somnahalvoya peninsula, into which the Torgfjorden cuts in from the southwest. Bronnoysund is located on a narrow piece of land in the northwest shoreline of the fjord and is largely surrounded by the sea. To the west of the city lies the strait Bronnoysundet, over which a bridge leads to the islands Hestoya, Kvaloya, and Torget. In the middle of the city lies the lake Frokenosen. In the evening, we enjoy the amazing view from our accommodation.
