14.12 Kawakawa, Paihia, Kaikohe Mostly sunny, around 24 degrees

After breakfast, hike along the beach to the peninsula, beautiful plants, great views, empty beach. We start for Kawakawa around 12.00 o'clock. Again curvy and narrow. In Kawakawa we eat our first Fish and Chips. The small town looks like a western town. Here Friedensreich Hundertwasser lived his last 25 years. He left the city some buildings, including the most famous toilet in the world. We stroll through the town, of course use the famous toilet, refill water in the motorhome, drain water and continue to Paihia to the beach.

Continue to Kaikohe, where we stay overnight at a freedom camping site (simple and free).
