We have breakfast near the beach, then go for a beach walk. Here a river flows into the sea. Very clean river water. The beach is also wonderfully empty here. Great sandy beach with a view of the cliffs. Then to the "Lost Gipsy Cafe". A mishmash of curiosities, in an old converted mobile home. Lots of things to try out with switches, lights, acoustics. We enjoy the cappuccino outside, Malte is experimenting inside. The owner took elements from Hundertwasser in the design of the outdoor area. Very nice!
Continue to Kaka Point, to Nugget Point. The last 7km are gravel road and the last 2km are very narrow and steep. Motorhomes are prohibited from driving in the darkness. From the car park, we take a walk to the lighthouse at Nugget Point. On the way, we see sea lions down on the rocky shore. From the lighthouse, there is a great view of the rock formations and the steep cliffs. On the way back from Kaka Point, we stop at the beach and take a walk. We find a living starfish and I pick some mussels from the rock for dinner. Malte enjoys playing in the pools of water on the beach. Dinner at a playground (next to the campsite) in pleasant temperatures. Overnight in a side street.
