All my things are packed, the apartment is cleaned and the keys are handed over to the subtenant. In a week, it's time to go.
It's high time to start packing. A strange feeling, I'm used to packing a day or a few hours before the flight. But this time it's going to be a bit longer and I have to pack everything in a backpack that I can carry for several hours during my trip, so I face new challenges. Take as little as possible, but have everything I need with me.
I'm lucky that my godfather is joining me for the Kilimanjaro trekking in December and I can give him the luggage that I only need for the trekking. So I don't have to carry around the thick winter clothes and heavy hiking boots during my whole journey.
So there are two sets of gear. One is the luggage I need for my journey, and the other is the luggage I need for the trekking. After much consideration, I selected what I think I need and should take with me. And voila, everything even fits in the backpack. The weight measurement resulted in a total weight of 14 kg. The weight should be manageable and I should be able to handle all flights without overweight (regarding the luggage).
