Tag 123: a few more pagodas before moving on

This morning we rented three more scooters to visit a few more temples and pagodas. However, the sight of the old buildings had become repetitive by now, so we took it easy. After three hours of riding around, we had lunch and then drove back to the hostel. A taxi picked us up from there and took us to our bus to Mandalay. The five-hour bus ride felt long because the bus was very uncomfortable, the driver drove very chaotically, and the air conditioning didn't really work. So we arrived at our hostel feeling quite tired. There, we met two Germans, Sarina and Natascha, right away. The five of us had dinner together and then went for a beer. Since each of us had done different things so far, there was a lot to talk about and report.
