Tag 106: we deserved a little beer

We had never been able to ride over 250km in one day with our motorcycles. So today we decided to finally have the number 3 at the front and ride straight to the sea, more precisely to Ha Long. We set off early without breakfast and drove over 50km until we had an oil change and then a small breakfast break. We made good progress until noon, until it started raining heavily and we had to take sheltered breaks. We constantly kept an eye on the arrival time on the navigation system so that we wouldn't have to ride in the dark. But since we left so early, this was not a problem at first. When we finally reached the coast, the traffic became almost unbearable stressful, trucks, buses, scooters, cyclists, and pedestrians everywhere. After such a long distance to get into such traffic really drained us. Completely sweaty and exhausted, we arrived at our hostel in Ha Long after exactly 300km. In the evening, we went to a local restaurant for dinner. There, we treated ourselves to a few freshly tapped beers. We were quickly noticed by the locals. Our table neighbors wouldn't let us leave until they could buy us another beer. Back at the hostel, the three of us fell asleep within a few minutes.
